Sure you can. Windows Mail did not exist at the time of any earlier
versions, and Outlook is not clairvoyant.

I am trying to retrieve a phone number on outlook file 2003 from a floppy.
How do I download this .pst file to my PC, windows XP. I have outlook 2003 in
the PC

Has nothing to do with this thread.
Has nothing to do with Outlook.
Are you asking how to copy a file from a floppy? Use Windows Explorer. Then
remove the read only attribute from the file so Outlook can open it.
