Hi everyone,

One of my clients has contacts disappearing from their contact list.  The
contacts are disappearing randomly with no pattern I can identify.  I've done
a search, but I haven't found any satisfactory answers.

The customer is in a hosted exchange environment (meaning the exchange
server is hosted off-site along with a Blackberry Exchange Server service).
Only one account is affected (that we can identify).  Three other people have
editor access (and they are not deleting these contacts).  There are 7 other
users, but they only have reviewer status.

There is one more twist.  The actual user does not actually add/remove
anything from the list.  Their office manager manages the list from her
computer.

I can't seem to replicate the problem anywhere else (and I don't have a
Blackberry server to use either).  So I'm hoping someone here can help me.
Thanks.

I have a similar problem.  My user is in Outlook 2003, 2003 Exchange server,
she is the secretary, has rights to her attorney's contacts. She has noticed
that contacts have been randomly disappearing from her attorney's contacts.
One in particular that disappeared was the attorney's own contact
information.  The attorney also has a blackberry, synching via the Blackberry
Server.  I would also like to figure out what is happening.  I will let you
know if I find out anything new.
