I've somehow created a sub-folder under my contacts and would like to
transfer all of the contacts in the sub-folder to the parent contact folder.
Do I have to do it manually one by one or is there a way I can export it to
the parent folder?

Simply highlight all your contacts in the subfolder (select first contact -
hold down shift key and then select last contact) --> right-click --> select
"Move to folder".
