I have a new copy of Outlook. I have two issues. 1. It won't let me add
additional contacts beyond 1000 and 2. I don't have a personal folder. A MS
representative said let's do "Outlook Connector" this is the best way. What's
going on? Are these issues related or are they separate? My needs are to
have much more than 1000 contacts and to have them on my machine. When I
went to my account on line all my contacts were there. This is no good I
want them only on my machine. Please help. Thanks

Outlook has no such limitations.
You have, of course, omitted the only relevant information: your mail
account type.
If for example, you are using hotmail, then those are where the limitations
are coming from. Surely you aren't using hotmail and forgetting to tell us
that. If so, this is not an Outlook issue at all.

No such thing. MAPI is not a mail account type. Try again.
