After my DLs disappeared (for no apparent reason), I am
attempting to rebuild them from my contacts. All of my
contacts have last name, first name. When I go to "select
names" for my new DL, the names from my contacts appear as
an alphabetical list but some are by first name and some
are by last name. I cannot figure out why? Anyone know?

DL's will either follow your sort setting for the Outlook Address Book or
the Subject field, depending on your version.
