I am using MS Office 97 and have a number of contacts
listed.  How do I backup my contact list.

Assuming you're not connected to an Exchange server, all your data,
including contacts, are located in the .PST file.  Just back up that file,
or export the contacts to a new .PST file if you don't need to back up any
of your other data types (calendar, mail, etc.).
