cannot make contacts oab

I am trying to make a user's outlook address book show his
contacts as the first choice. When I try to make the
change, the option to 'show this folder as an outlok
address book' is grayed out.

Any suggestions??

Have you tried removing the outlook addressbook service, restarting outlook,
and then re-adding it..
that solved the same problem for me last week. just a thought. ps. you have
to start outlook without the service. then restart after re-adding the
service.
