Is there a way to link contacts in public folders with
contacts in personal folders so that any changes made one
contact location is made in the other. For example - you
have John Smith in public contacts and want a copy of
that in your personal contacts so you can get reminders
and because it is easier to work with a smaller number of
contacts. You make a note in the contact or change
information. Can the 2 contacts be linked so the info is
automatically changed in the other folder?

This type of synchronization is not built into Outlook. See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm for possible solutions.
