how to delet an address

how to delet an old email address so it does not show up as a suggestion in the To: box?

I have a person who switched email address.  The To: box in a new message is set up to suggest names based on first 3 letters.  When I type in Lau (for Laurie) it gives me the new and old choices, but it displays just the person's name.  I can't tell which is which without chosding one and seeing what the actual emaill address is.  I have deleted all old messages to or from the old address and the address itself has been removed from the book.  This is VERY frustrating! I don't want Outlook to recognize or suggest the old address- it no longer exsists.

Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
