I am using Outlook 2000 on an XP OS.

Although I have removed and then added the OAB, logged off and exited
and restarted Outlook, I still receive the error message that begins
with,"the address list could not be displayed....."

I even tried a repair of Outlook 2000. Then I removed Outlook and
reinstalled.  Still no luck.  Does anyone have an idea of how I can
get my address book to work?  It all was fine until I started a new
.pst file and imported my data into it.

I also tried creating a completely new .pst file and only added one
contact...but the error message was still there.  I am stumped!

Never Mind!  I finally fixed it by doing a system
restore.  I had to back more than a week, but it worked
and I'm grateful.
