I have tried using the search feature on the site to find
names or topics and it simply does not work.  Even when I
put my own name in to search for in the "From
line"(knowing that I have mulitple posts), no results are
displayed.  What is happening?

the search is buggy - use Google instead. All posts are archived there,
usually about 12 hours after they are posted. An advantage of Google is that
you might find the answer to your question even if your post wasn't answered
yet. :)

If you plan to use the newsgroups for more than a question or two, set up OE
as the newsreader. Instructions are on the communities site - or if you only
need the servername and know how to do the rest, msnews.microsoft.com
