My wife an I keep seperate contact list.
When we both use outlook 2000 i could update my list from hers.
She now has outlook 2003 and I still have outlook 2000.
When I try to update it tells "properties must be defined before use.

what do I need to do

Thanks
Mark

How are you doing the "update?"
If you use Export from Outlook 2003, you will create a file that cannot be
read by earlier versions of Outlook--one more reason not to use the
export/import function when transferring Outlook data from one Outlook
installation to another.
Instead you will need to use the File > New > Outlook Data File... to create
a PST file in the old format that you can open in Outlook 2000.
