Where can I find more information about the "Private"
check box on the Contact card?
In my office I share my complete contact file by
exporting it as a pst file. I have personal information
in some of the contact cards that I don't want to share.

I think that the "Private" check box will work only with an Exchange server,
such as when you give users permissions to view your contacts folder from
the permissions tab of the contacts properties. I think all bets are off
when you convert it to a PST file and let everyone open the PST file.

Are you on an exchange server? I am going to guess that you are not.
