Regional settings, modems, phone, everything I can think of is set to Norway
and Norwegian and Canada is still the default country when I open Outlook.

Hi, i was having the same problem, but i checked the 'Phone and Modem
options in Control Panel and clicked 'Edit' on my location. Sur
enough, it was default to stupid US.
Even though i don't use a phone or modem from my computer, i changed i
and now whenever i create a new contact in Outlook the phone number i
not America!! Yay!!
Thanks Russ
