Is it possible to download the GAL for use by an IMAP
client?

Thanks in advance.

no, not unless you have an exchange account in the profile... you can access
it using ldap though unless the ports are blocked.

Thanks Diane,
I just want to be sure I understand.
I can't use offline GAL with IMAP.
However, if I use the account with an Exchange account
(like at the office) I can add that to my profile and
then it'll be available.

What do you mean about a port being blocked?  When is
this applicable.

Thanks for your help.

Happy New Year.

Eunice
