I have some people that have multiple email addresses.  When I address a new message and browse the address list, it just shows the same name 2 or three times depending on how many addresses are associated with the name.  It would be more usefull to display the "display as" field asssociated with the different email entries rather than simply repeating the same "file as" field for as many times as there are different email addresses.  Perhaps there is a way to configure Outlook 2002 to do this.  If it is possible, it is not obvious how to do it.  Thanks!

There is no way. The horizontal scroll bar is all you can use--one of
Outlook 2002's many shortcomings and a major reason we are glad it is no
longer the current version.

I'm having similar issues.  It Seems that if a contact has
the Fax or business fax field filled out, then the address
book displays it as a seperate email address, giving
multiple entries for a contact, even though one entry is
accutally in the address book.  How can I fix this?

The standard behavior for the Outlook Address book is to display all
electronic addresses (both fax and e-mail). That behavior cannot be changed.
The only way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to store them in a
different field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with an alpha
character) so that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
There are also a number of utilities available that can do this for you
automatically. Some are listed here:
