each group member's name and e:mail address be
suppressed/hidden from other members?  When I send a
message to a Group, each person can see other member names
and e:mail addresses on the "To" line in the header.  Just
trying to give some privacy to members.  Frustrating...

Thanks.

Group? Outlook does not use groups.
Put the addresses in the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) field of the mail header.
If that field doesn't show while you're composing a E-mail go to the View
menu and select 'BCC Field'.

Alternately you could use an application like the ones listed here:

(Outlook 2000) Outlook doesn't use "groups" but it does use distribution
lists.  The following Knowledge Base Article explains
(1) how to set up a distribution list in Contacts and, to address your
question
(2) how to display only the name of the distribution list in the To box of
the e-mail message.

Of course. But my point was that I was worried he was creating groups in the
address book instead of DL's in the Contacts Folder (which indeed he was).
That is a bad habit to get into since they may not persist from one
installation to the next.

Thanks, Russ.  BCC worked perfectly.  When I
mentioned "Groups" I was referring to the "New Group"
feature on the drop-down menu under "File" in the address
book.  No matter, your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.
