copying contacts and calendar to laptop

How do I copy my calendar and contacts on my home PC to
my laptop?  I've bought a USB Data Traveler, but can't
seem to figure it out.

The file you need to transfer is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's
where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
