How can I copy the contacts I have on my desktop to my laptop?.

Create a Personal Folders file (PST file) on your desktop. Copy your
Contacts Folder into it.
Close Outlook.
Copy that PST file to your laptop. Open the PST file in Outlook and copy the
contents of the Contacts Folder into the laptop's PST file.
