This is a long one.  I have two computers, one is running
Win ME updated to XP Home.  On it I use outlook express
for email.  My address book is in outlook with the option
to share with other programs.  If I don't select this I
can't see it in Express.  I am trying to transfer th AB
to my new computer which is running XP PRO.  I have tried
to import it, email it or copy it to disk and load it.
Everytime I do nothing appears.  The properties says it
is there and has the right KB's, however when I open it
instead of seeing one folder that is labeled contacts I
have two, shared contacts and one with my name on it.
Nothing apears in either of these folders.  I have tried
to delete express on the new computer it won't let me and
anytime I try to delete the address book from the
settings folder it reappears when I empty the recycle
bin.  Any ideas?
Thanks
Larry

Exactly what are you trying to export?
Outlook does not use an address book. It uses a PST file that contains all
Outlook data in one file.
