I installed a RamDisk to cut the search time for a
contact's activities, but Outlook keeps searching the
hard drive. Does anyone know how to set it to look only
on the RamDisk, so it doesn't take 3-5 minutes to find
all journal entries and e-mail messages?

Are you copying your PST file to the RAMDisk and then launching Outlook,
pointed at the copied file? That's the only scenario I can imagine where a
RAMDisk might play a role in the search.
