I upgraded computers and went from Millenium edition to XP and Microsoft Office Professional 2003. I have many questions, but will start with one
Previous version, my contact list also showed up as an address list. Now it does not. I checked help and tried the "create a unicode personal folders file" with no success
How do I resolve this address list issue so that it sees my contact list?

Right Click on the CONTACTS folder
Select PROPERTIES
Select the OUTLOOK ADDRESS BOOK tab
Turn on the check mark next to "Show this folder
as an email address book"

Made the change and no luck. I start a new email message, click "To", and receive the message, "address list could not be displayed..." Turned off Outlook and restarted and same result. Help please.

Try removing the Address Book from your
Email Accounts (DIRECTORY) area.
Then Re-add the Address Book.

Steve
I think your problem is that you can't lookup Contacts. Click the icon at
top of screen for the address book ( a book) and then select Tools, Options
and make sure the Contacts are showing.
I hope that helps.
