My customer is trying to create a distribution list containing 300
recipients.  Unfortunately Outlook will not allow him to have more than
99 recipients.

On my system i can go past 99 recipients with no problem.

They are using outlook 2000 and Exchange 2000.

Anybody have any ideas on what the cause could be??

That's the limit on Exchange. The user can chain DLs or dispense with them
altogether and use categories instead.

But how can that be the limit when I can go past 99 recipients on my
networkwith exactly the same versions of exchange and outlook?

There's not an exact number limit -- it could be as high as 130 or so. But
when you reach it, it's full. See
