Mail Merge to Word - Zip Codes won't print

I'm doing a mail merge from Outlook, discriminating by
catagory, and printing onto a letter that's already been
created.

All works fine.  The letters print on the printer, the
address section fills in fine, the Dear "so and so" is
all there.  The only problem is that the zip code won't
print.

Along with this, is there any way to customize the
Dear "so and so" -- because it prints the full name,
rather than just a first name -  I want just first names
on some, and full on others or maybe "Mr. Doe."

Also, once I get the zip code to print (assuming you
folks can help me), is there a way to get the letters to
print in zip code order?

You need to familiarize yourself with merge fields and how they differ
between Word and Outlook. Your question cannot be answered without knowing
your versions.  You'll need to read up on this yourself to decide how you
want to customize your merge. Start here:
