How do we (can we?)bring an individual's name and address
from our company rolodex in Outlook over to a letter in
Word without using the copy and paste commands?  The
letter is a single letter, not a mail merge.  Do we have
to re-enter all of the rolodex entries into the contacts
section in order to accomplish this or is there a simple
one or two click way to bring this info across?

this is an easy one. In the contact view choose the contact you want
Click Action / New Letter to Contact
And that's all... that will open word with a wizard to personalize the letter if you want. All contact information will appear on the document

You might want to warn him though, that it will not work unless his version
of Word matches that of Outlook.   I have Outlook 2003 and Word 2002.  I got
that error message when I tried to do what you suggested.
