I added a bunch of contacts so I could sync with my iPaq (have not
installed sync software yet).  When I add a contact without an email
address (I just want the physical address and phone numbers) the
contact is not shown in the list.  However, if I try to add it again
it tells me it already exists, but the button for view existing record
is disabled.

Anybody know whats going on?

What "list?"
The Outlook Address Book displays only electronic addresses.
