Lost Contacts

Hello

Here's what I did, My wifes computer crashed but I was able to rescue the
Contacts.dbx file from the hard drive. Now I am at a state of frustration as
I can't get the file to import into contacts in Microsoft Outlook. I have
tried every way I know how to open the contacts.dbx file but it just won't
happen. I went from Version 2002 to a newly reloaded version 2002. Is there
anything I can do with this file or is all lost.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as we lost a lot of our charity
contacts. We run a charity called Computers For Kids at
www.computersforkids.
Please help.

You are getting your programs confused. Outlook does not use dbx file.
Outlook Express does.
The two programs are not related.

The file you need to look for is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's
where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
