Need help. I just replaced my hard drive and I'm trying
to import my Outlook.pst file (will my old inbox,
contacts, etc.) back into my new, empty Outlook, so that
my e-mail looks like it did before I replaced my hard
drive.
I tried using the Import tool. I clicked "import from
another program or file", then clicked on "Personal
Folder File (*pst), then entered the path to the file to
import (the outlook.pst file), and then hit finish.
The reply was, "The source and destination folders for
this operation cannot be the same". So, that didn't
work. I'm hoping someone can tell me how to fix this
problem so that I can import the outlook.pst file
correctly. Any ideas? Thanks!

close outlook. find and rename the new pst. open outlook when it whines
about not finding your pst, point it to the new one.
