when you are logged into MSN, the connector creates a copy of your
hotmail/msn address book on your computer. it doesn't actually sync with
your current contacts, you'll have two contacts folders and can move
contacts between them.
switch to a folder view and you should see the MSN/hotmail local folders -
look in the contacts folder. you should have two contacts folders listed in
the address book.
