I'm using Outlook XP -
is there any way to link the public and personal contacts
so that what you type, change, etc in one automatically
shows up in the other.

Also, is there any 3rd party software that will allow you
to be "dinged" from the public contacts without thet
reminder going to everyone on the server? Thanks

I am attempting to do the same thing - so far without
success.   Whenever I add a journal entry or an
attachment to a contact in the public folder, it
disappers.   Hopefully someone will have a worthwhile
suggestion to override this.

This type of synchronization is not built into Outlook. See
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/sync.htm for possible solutions.
