forgive me if this is somewhere else in the forum....here is what we ar
talking about:

in outlook: in contacts: under my contact: there is a contact under m
contact between the current view options: if you right click you ca
create a sub folder to split your emails and what not and add contact
to it: ok, so you decide you don?t want that folder there anymore an
you move the contacts back their original spot...default contact
book...and delete the folder...no problem

i open a distribution list and want to select memebers

in the drop down menu show member name in there you will still see th
contact folder you just deleted, i figured out how to get the thin
being not the default if the deleted list was alpha higher than contac
but it is still in the list...now, imma not that picky...usually?bu
how you get that out of there?

If looked alls over?if it is simple forgive me?.any help

I was able to reproduce your problem and I found a way to clear up the
listing.
1. Close Outlook.
2. Go to Start -> Control Panel and Double Click on the Mail icon.
3. Click on the E-mail Accounts.
4. Select the "View or change existing directories or address books" under
Directory and Click Next.
5. Highlight the "Outlook Address Book" and Click on Remove.
6. Now Click on Add.
7. Select "Additional Address Books" and Click Next.
8. Highlight "Outlook Address Book" and Click Next.
9. Click Finish.
10. Open Outlook and check to make sure the listing is gone.

I hope this information is helpful.
