We are running Outlook 2002 on a Small Biz Server 2000
with Exchange Server 2000.  Whenever any users use the
Outlook Address Book when trying to send new email
messages, any contact that has a fax number entered into
its properties, is listed twice in the Outlook Address
Book along with its email.

Is there anyway to keep the fax portion of the contact
information from being shown in the Outlook Address Book?
This just causes confusion with users, as to why there
are two enteries for one contact.

The standard behavior for the Outlook Address book is to display all
electronic addresses (both fax and e-mail). That behavior cannot be changed.
The only way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to store them in a
different field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with an alpha
character) so that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
