My colleague is having a problem with contacts being automatically added
from spammers.

She has just moved to Outlook 2002 from Outlook Express.

I cannot find a setting which allows contacts to be added
automatically.

Any suggestions on how to block contacts from invading would be
gratefully appreciated.

There is no such setting in Outlook 2002.

Have you verified that this is actually happening? Outlook cannot and would
not add senders automatically to the Contacts Folder simply upon receipt of
a message.
