I have a contacts list on my network that i cant add new
contacts to. i am using OL2000 on a win 2000 os. the error
we get reads "A new entry could not be added. please use
the contacts module to create this entry." whe have a
wireless pda using active sync on our network and i think
that is what caused the problem. if anyone can help please
email me your response thanks.

Define "contacts list on my network." That term not meaningful.
That error message usually means you are trying to add to the Address Book
view rather than to the Contacts Folder. Only add data to an Outlook
Contacts Folder.
