I had an issue with Outlook which instructed me to use detect and repair to fix the problem. However, when I did this, I lost all my contacts and mail messages. Is there any way i can retrieve them Most likely. You didn't tell us anything about your version or setup. Assuming you are using a PST file for Outlook data storage, search for and open each PST file on your hard drive until you find your data.
