Cannot edit Word Address Book using Insert Address on toolbar

Dear Microsoft Support Newsgroup:

I upgraded to Word XP from Word 2000. When I hit the Insert Address button
on the toolbar in Word XP to bring up the Address Book, the Select Name dialog box comes up but the
Properties button to edit each of the individual contacts within that dialog box does not work. I have to actually go
into Outlook XP if I want to edit or modify these contacts.

If I send an email from within Word XP, however, and use the Select Names button located beside
the To: or cc: boxes, the Properties button now works with no problems. (This Select Names dialog box is slightlyt different than the one mentioned above and has the "two-pane look" to it.)

Is there anything I can do to edit the address book when I use
the Insert Address button on the toolbar while in Word XP without going into Outlook XP?

Thanks,

Kent

No. These are two different address book interfaces.
