Editing a distribution list, I notice for the first time
a box at the bottom right labeled "Private. What does the
Private box do if checked?

I know it does not keep the email addresses in the list
private if I send an email to a distribution list. All
recipients still see all the email addresses of everyone
on the list, and Reply to All sends an email to everyone
on the list... so what DOES it do?

Thanx,

If means that if someone has access to your mailbox, they won't see the DL.
