I have created new fields in the Contact list that match names in an Excel file. When I map Custom Fields from my Excel list to my Contact data base, the new fields do not appear in the 'TO' mapping window -- so when I import the file, the new fields are listed but the values for them are all blank. Any ideas?

You cannot import to custom (user-defined) fields using the standard Outlook
import function. You need a 3rd party product (such as ours) or others you
may find at http://www.slipstick.com/addins/contacts.htm
