A user has accidently deleted a contact and she would like
to get it back.
Is there a way through exchange 2000 to get the one
contact back?  Is the contact stored on the exchange
server in such a way I can restore it?

thanks

Did she look in the Deleted Items folder? That's the first place to look.

Yes, she did.  Is there a way to get it back from exchange
server? How do you verify if exchange 2000 server is set to
retain deleted items.  In outlook on client the option to
recover deleted items is grayed out.  because it is a
contact is that something non-recoverable?

thanks
