Outlook-Contacts has worked fine until recently. Now,
when I open the address book and click on a contact and
then hit "To" (or CC....) all that shows up is a Period
(ie "full stop", not the e-mail address. But in
Properties, the e-mail address is correct, as are all the
other bits of Contact information. This means I have to
type in the e-mail addresses, which is no way to spend
one's time. Can anyone help?

Perhaps.
But you provided no relevant information. No Outlook version. No information
on how the Contacts were created. No information on what changed right
before "Now, when I open the Outlook Address Book..."
This function could not suddenly change for no reason. Certainly you have
some clue. You've provided us none.
