Importing Custom Contacts

Hi,

I created a custom contact form and are using User1 to 3
fields. I assigned the custom form on the contact folder
as the default when posting, but when I import contact
information from excel, when I open one fo the contacts
it still uses the original form and not my custom form.
Is this typical? Or any workarounds?

Yes, that's normal behavior. Outlook doesn't support importing to a custom
form. You'd have to write custom code or use a third-party application. See
http://www.slipstick.com/dev/customimport.htm.
