MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / February 2004Importing from ACT! 6.0 to Outlook 2003
It appears that Outlook 2003 only has the ability to convert from ACT! 2000 (ver 5.0) or earlier....How do I get the data out of ACT! 6.0? Thanks Dan... I just tonight installed Outlook 2002 on my notebook (runs MS Office Professional 2000) from the Windows Mobile 2003 upgrade CD. In my version of O2002 the highest ACT! is v.4.0. I was able to Import the ACT! files into O2002, and then sync/transfer/replace my old Outlook files on my iPaq 3970 (running WM2003). I didn't get notes for some reason, and maybe someone with more brains than me can figure that one out <grin>. You shouldn't have any problem getting your contacts... but you might want to try a sample to see if you can coax more than just the basic contact information out of ACT! and into Outlook 2003.
