I am looking to remove (hide?) specific addresses from the
GAL, but still have them able to be resolved by users when
typing them into the To... box.  I would also like for the
user to be able to select an Address Book View in the
Address Book to be able to see those addresses that I
removed/hid from the GAL.  Is this possible or am I
misunderstanding what Address Book Views are?  If it is
possible, how do I do it?  I've looked all over the net
for an explanation/instruction, but haven't found any.  My
main goal is for users to only those addresses if they
want to, but still be able to be resolved.  If I have to
change the default view from GAL to a different one in
order to hide those addresses, I will do so.  My company
is currently using Outlook2K/XP and Exchange 5.5.  We will
be migrating to Exchange 2003 within the next 6 months, so
if it is not possible until then, let me know.

Hi:
It depends on what you are using to filter the views with.

If you are using a criteria such as the email domain name
to exclude companies, then your main view filter set as
default,  should exclude the unwanted address (ie
@thatblockedcompany) should be set as the filtering
criteria, and the blockedcompany view should only include
@thatblockedcompany)

good luck!
