Outlook - shared adesss book doesn't work

Hi,

we are using OL2000 and have set up a shared adress book. This bloody thing,
however, doesn't work as it should.
Modifications one user makes are not updated with the others.

Does anyone know an addin or adress book software which can do the following
- Reside on a network share
- is fully shareable
- integrates into OL so that it can be used as a contact list
- accepts modifications from every user ?
