I think I have the same problem. When I click on the contacts folder in my folder list sometime the same person has been entered more than once. Someone said the program automatically enters someone in there when you respond to an email. If this is the case, is there a way to turn it off? When I look at my contact list, I like to think it only contains the info I want it to contain

To what "contacts listing" are you referring
If you mean the address book, then they are not "multiples." Each electroni
address will be listed separately in the Outlook Address Book

No current version of Outlook has such a feature. You failed to post your
Outlook version, which makes it rather hard to help you.

Someone said the program automatically enters someone in there when you
respond to an email. If this is the case, is there a way to turn it off?
When I look at my contact list, I like to think it only contains the info I
want it to contain.
