I am using MS Outlook 2003. But, I am finding inconcistencies between my Contacts listing and my address book listing. Specifically: 1. Some records listed in the "Contacts" folder are not shown in the address book 2. Some records properly entered (i.e. data is entered into the correct fields) into the "Contacts" folder are shown in the address book as "first name / last name" rather than the selected preference of "last name / first name." This is EXTREMELY frustrating. To make sure everything was properly configured, I de-linked and then relinked the OAB to the Contacts folder (OAB listed in the Directories and Address Books list; Contacts folder listed). Any guidance on how to resolve these issues? Thanks! We need more information than you have provided. Tell us more about which Contacts are not appearing. Make sure these Contacts do indeed have valid, resolved, electronic addresses. If you imported them, those fields may be corrupt. I don't understand how you selected "last, first" for the sort order of the Address Book. There is no such option. Russ - thank you for your timely response. You were correct. I manually re-entered the e-mail addresses into the contact records that were not showing up in the address book (several I had originally imported or cut and pasted from another application). These contacts are now shown in the address book! With respect to the listing / sort order, I had selected the "file as" order which correctly specified the order I wanted but was not consistently being displayed in the address book. I inadvertently fixed the problem by running the "Detect and Repair" option under the "Help" option. Not sure why this worked but I am not complaining!
