AutoFill not working

After importing Outlook Express data to Outlook, the
AutoFill (name from Contacts or Address Book) function is
not working. I am also still using Outlook Express; where
that function is still working properly.  I have checked
the box in Outlook, Tools > Options > Preferences> Email
Options > Advanced Email Options that says:  "Suggest
names while completing To, Cc and Bcc fields."  This was
never NOT checked as far as I know, and checking it does
not fix the problem.

I believe this is the same rule as the one in Outlook
Express, Tools > Send that says:  Automatically complete
email addresses when composing.
Any answer to this problem?  I would appreciate a reply
to my email addresss at:  martin@gobrainstorm.net
Thanks, John

You have misunderstood how autocomplete works. It works from a cache of
names that is populated as you send messages, not from your Contacts List.
Send messages. Then it will work.
