Hi James!
There are several troubleshooting steps that may resolve your issue:
A. Rename the Frmcache.dat file and Outlook will build a new one.
*****************************************************
1. Quit Outlook.
2. Click Start, point to Find, and click Files or Folders.
3. Type "Frmcache.dat" (without the quotation marks) in the Named box,
and click Find Now.
4. For each instance of the file found, right-click the file name and
click Rename.
5. Rename the file "Frmcache.old" (without the quotation marks), and
press ENTER.
6. Restart Outlook.
B. Create a new profile and add your accounts and information (You could possibly have a corrupted
profile)

Thank you William for your help.
Stupid of me for forgetting to mentioned that I'm using
OL XP to connect to Mail Server 5.5 hosted locally on my
Network.
Realised implication after trying out your suggestion,
that the problem is likely to be on the Server rather
than OL on my PC.
thanks again for your help.
