Can't add add addresses from address folder to my contacts

each time I try to take the chice, add to personal address
book. I receive the following message: Some contacts
could not be added to personal address book. The action
could not be completed. This worked until recently and
can't seem to figure out what the real issues is. Any
suggestions?
