You cannot directly import hotmail contacts into any version of Outlook. However, you have several
options to MOVE your hotmail contacts into Outlook 2003 without having to reenter all of them.

Your first option will be to import your hotmail contacts into Outlook Express and then import from
Outlook Express into Outlook 2003. [Contacts: Hotmail -> Outlook Express -> Outlook 2003]

Follow the steps below to import Hotmail contacts into Outlook Express:

1 - Setup Hotmail on Outlook Express

Open up OE and go to Tools then Accounts
Select the Mail tab and click Add then Mail...
Fill out the forms making sure to add "@hotmail.com" to your email address
Accept all the default settings
Import the Hotmail Address Book

2 - Select Tools, Address Book...
Then, in the Address Book window, select Tools. Synchronize Now
Enter your Hotmail password and it should import your address book into OE

An alternative will be available at a later date. A product known as the Office Outlook Connector for
MSN is currently available to MSN9 subscribers. It is a fully functional add-on that will allow you to
synchronize mail, contacts, calendar, tasks, and note items between your MSN/Hotmail web account
and Outlook 2002/2003 application. It will be available to standalone (users without MSN9
subscriptions) users within the next couple of months
